2024 Christmas Bonspiel

Good Afternoon Everyone,

            I would like to share some information regarding the upcoming Christmas Bonspiel at the Morrisburg Curling Club.  The bonspiel will be held on Saturday December 14, 2024.  The day will consist of curling, fun activities, a lot of laughs, followed by an excellent turkey dinner, and not to worry, I am not cooking.

The first draw will be two 6-end games being played at 11am and 3:15pm.  Pizza will be available between the two games for those wishing to purchase a piece for $4.00. 

The second draw will consist of one 8-end game being played at 1pm.    The winner of that draw will be determined using the Craig System which will be explained before the game.  

Throughout the day there will be a chance to win a free drink at the bar, compete in a 50/50 team competition and to try to win in the individual “toonie challenge” competition.  There will also be a combined 50/50 & raffle prize draw at the end of the day. 

A turkey dinner, catered by Lyle Skuce, at a cost of $25 will be served at 5:30pm.

People may sign up to curl ($10) and participate in the activities throughout the day or they can also sign up just for the turkey supper ($25).  You may sign up at the club or by emailing Jack Barkley at This email address is being protected from spambots.
