In league play, 11 senior mens teams have already completed the first draw. First place and the Adams trophy went to Maurice Kolff’s team with 100 points: Moe Kolff, Rick Astley and Kent Dawley. Congratulations guys. Second place goes to Andy Patenaude, Al Harriman, Mike Bonyun and Les Craig.  Third was Sid Morrell, John Gove, Paul Gunther and Charlie Farlinger.

The Tuesday night league, consisting of 9 teams is competing for the Calvert trophy. The team of Larry Cooper, Dave Salmon, Jim Casselman and John Allison are currently in first place.

The Thursday morning mixed league competes for the bank of Montreal trophy. They have 11 teams. Presently, in first place is the team of Keith Robinson, Doug Jarvis, Lise Steinburg and Anita Robitaille.

The Thursday night competitive league with its 10-team compliment are vying for the Dodge trophy. Al Harriman, Joan MacKinnon, Arndt Vogel and Mike Bonyun are presently in first place, followed closely by the teams skipped by Ian Wilson and Robert Houze.

Ladies night has 6 teams while the Friday night fun league has 13 teams. Monday nights we have 14 little rockers and 6 bantams.

On November 10th  we had 3 instructors from the Ontario Curling Association come to Morrisburg for a skills clinic. The maximum slots available was 24 which we were able to fill. Members from all groups attended. Look out, we may have created some future Olympians.

Total membership for 2018/2019 including the pay as you play  group is 146 up slightly from last year. Upcoming events include the Christmas bonspiel on December 8th, something we all look forward too.
